SAINT MATTHEWS

A ministry especially for children ages newborn- pre-kindergarten. Shine Children Shine is a faith based program designed to help children grow through music, games, and fun activities. SCS is intergenerational and care givers stay with their children while leaders from St. Matthews guide the group through all kinds of activities. SCS meets in our Recreation Center, during the school year, on most Wednesdays and has two different meeting times. 9:30 A.M. - 10:15 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.-11:15 A.M.  

A wonderful opportunity for children ages newborn- pre-kindergarten to enjoy some free play outside of their home! Jump For Joy gives the opportunities for kids to use up some energy while giving the opportunity for caregivers to take a break and talk with other adults with children. J4J meets on most Thursdays during the school year from 9:30 A.M.-11:00 A.M. in our Recreation Center.  

During the month of July families from the community gather for our camp fire nights. There are crafts, music, games, and food cooked on the campfire. Our campfire nights are fun for people of all ages and especially children!  

Children are encouraged to attend worship on Sunday mornings and we have lots of things to help them be engaged with the worship service. Children will be given a worship toolkit that helps them follow along with the service. They are also encouraged to participate during the sermon and encouraged to lead different aspects of worship if they wish.
